YOUphoria and Cut Loose Salon celebrated their Grand Opening on Jan. 30. This partnership is the result of the immense success the original YOUphoria Day Spa and Salon has experienced through the boundless support from the Belton and surrounding communities. Both the spa and salon are located in the River Oaks Shopping Center off of Lake Road, across from the Belton High School, in Belton.
“Belton has been the key for us to be able to expand since opening our first store in 2008. Belton is an amazing place to own a business and to just live in general,” said Owner Kerry King.
As customers were invited to take a guided tour of the new facilities, many were also chosen for complimentary chair massages. In addition, the opening included a chance for one lucky customer to win a $299 spa package. Several coupons being offered through the end of March are buy any 60 minute or more massage and receive any spa treatment for 50 percent off or a free 15-minute sauna with the purchase of a foot reflexology treatment. The spa will be accepting entrees throughout the month of February for new customers to win a $250 gift certificate. The drawing will be held March 1.
“I love having repeat customers. They walk out with a smiling face and they feel nice and relaxed. They come back every two to four weeks for a good maintenance to keep their body relaxed and their stress level low and just work on their aches and pains,” said Youphoria employee Ashley Dyess.
As a 2016 Honoree of the top 200 salons in America by Salon Today Magazine, YOUphoria prides themselves in being a business that the community can depend on for up-to-date techniques that enables the customer to receive the most benefit from the services rendered.
“We are very big on education of our staff. We do a lot of monthly training. No matter how large we or how big we grow, we are definitely keeping with the family theme. All my employees have become my family. We are very involved with the community. We donate to charities. We try to get involved with as much as we can with the community. The people of Belton has really helped us to be different and stay that way. That’s where our slogan, ‘Where it is all about you’ comes into it,” said King.
With YOUphoria experiencing a 20 percent growth in the years 2013 to 2014, customer satisfaction is still viewed as an important service to many businesses.
“I have been coming for about a year. Donna (Russell) is my favorite. I am always happy with my hair: I have very curly hair and she is very good with it. She has made me feel like family from the very first time I met her,” said Cut Loose customer Linda Joyner of Temple.
“I really would like to thank the community for all the support we have received from them throughout all the years. I want to thank them for choosing us to be the salon and spa that they choose to go to for whatever beauty and relaxation services that they are needing. We hope to be here for many years to come,” said King.
